Let's jump right in.  The water is warm :

North Korea is going to launch a missile at Hawaii.  At least that is according to reports from Japanese Intelligence Agencies.    They believe that the launch of a long-range missile will take place between July 4th and July 8th.   Thankfully, we do have a missile defense system in place (for now anyway) that has recorded 18 successful intercepts in 22 attempts.   That's a pretty good percentage; not good enough to book your family vacation to Hawaii anytime soon but pretty good none-the-less.   Let's just hope, we have the courage to use it, should we need it.

To all of those who just wanted the world to “like” us again.  How is that working out for you?  Despite having the most appeasing President since Jimmy Carter, our enemies are more brazen and bold than ever while our allies are questioning our competence and loyalty.  Want examples?  Iran is about to publicly murder student protesters.  North Korea is going to launch a missile at us.  Al-Qaeda promised it will use Pakistani nukes on us.  Russia is trying to destroy the dollar.  Hugo Chavez jokes  that Comrade Obama is a Communist.  Only 6% of Israelis feel Barack is an ally.  The European leaders flat out refused to cooperate with freeing terrorist detainees.  Check out this from the British Telegraph: “Watch out, France and Co, there is a new surrender [man] on the block and, over the next four years, he will spectacularly sell out the interests of the West with every kind of liberal-delusionist initiative on nuclear disarmament and sitting down to negotiate with any power freak who wants to buy time to get a good ICBM fix on San Francisco, or wherever.  If you thought the world was a tad unsafe with Dubya around, just wait until President Pantywaist gets into his stride.”  That's right.  The liberal British media is now calling Barack: “President Pantywaist.”  By this point, I hope everyone realizes that it’s better to be feared by our enemies than liked.

With all of this missile talk, it kind of makes you feel embarrassed that we elected a President committed to cutting our missile defense programs.   According to the Heritage Foundation, Obama’s: “2010 defense budget proposes cutting $1.4 billion from the Missile Defense Agency’s budget.  It is one thing to carefully oversee the operational capability and technical feasibility of specific ballistic missile defense programs; it is an entirely different endeavor to substantially cut the overall missile defense budget when the risk of a ballistic missile launch is palpably growing.”  No one should be surprised though.  Do you remember these campaign gems from Barack: “I will end misguided defense policies...I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems...I will not weaponize space...I will slow our development of future combat systems...I will set a goal of a world without nuclear weapons...To seek that goal I will develop new nuclear weapons...to achieve deep cuts in our nuclear arsenals.”  To summarize, he has always intended to get rid of the weapons that our enemies seek to use against us.  Uneducated votes have consequences my friends.

So to review, President Obama’s defense budget cuts missile defense programs by $1.4 billion just as North Korea puts Operation-Blow-Up-Hawaii into effect.  Thankfully, a group of Republican Congressmen on the House Armed Services Committee offered a series of amendments on June 16th to reverse the proposed cuts.   Sources on the Committee tell Jennifer Rubin from Pajamas Media that Committee Democrats blocked the amendments.  Minority Whip Eric Cantor told Pajamas Media: “As we watch what is going on with North Korea and the brutal regime in Iran, Democrat efforts to cut missile defense programs are not only misguided, but dangerous.  As our enemies ramp up, it doesn’t makes sense to cut important defense and national security programs.”  This is a huge story.  The President and the Democrats in the House are cutting our Missile Defense when we need it most.  So, why do I have to go to Pajamas Media to get this inside information from the House Armed Services Committee?  Because the State Run Media: ABC, NBC, CBS, New York Times, CNN, Time, Newsweek and the Washington Post would rather cover hard-hitting stories like the Obama family’s trip to get ice cream;  what the fabulous Michelle Obama is wearing to work-out, or what Bo, the first dog, had for breakfast.  They are corrupt and committing malpractice.  Americans must take their news gathering into their own hands at this point.  There are some very intelligent, unbiased, and credible news sources out there.  You just have to put a little effort into finding them.

This just in: our third-rate Director of Homeland Security and first-rate buffoon: Janet Napolitano is shutting down a “controversial” spy-satellite program that has been used to stop terrorist attacks.  So, far, the White House's...err...I mean...Napolitano's strategy is to scrap every anti-terrorist program that has worked for the past 8 years.  Ignorant or Malicious?  Maybe both.

There are courageous people in Iran dying right now.  They are being murdered by a brutal regime as they stand up for democracy and the freedom.  We take so much for granted in this country.   We are only free today because brave men and women from many generations have stood up and died for our freedom.  It's so sad to see us surrender this freedom peacefully to our Government.  I dread the day I have to explain this to my grandchildren.  What will I say?  “We surrendered your freedom because we were too busy working, Facebooking and watching 'John and Kate' to care.  We were too lazy to get educated.”  We all need to turn off the computers, the Blackberrys and the televisions and take a stand.  If not for us, for our grandchildren.  God Bless the brave protesters in Iran and God Bless America.
