My last two columns detailed what we know about Barack Obama. Unfortunately, there are still many things we don’t know about Barack. For instance, what country was he born in? We don’t know for sure because he refuses to produce his birth certificate. What were his grades in college and graduate school? We don’t know because he won’t release his transcripts. What do his health records look like? We don’t know because he won’t release his medical records. Where are all his campaign donations coming from? We don’t know because his campaign won’t properly vet or record the sources. Don’t we have a right to know these things? What is he hiding? Sadly, his supporters don’t seem to care. They are content to put a man in office with no experience, radical associations, socialist beliefs, foreign campaign contributions and many, many secrets. These people need to know there are real consequences at stake here. An Obama Presidency will give the radical left control of the House, Senate and White House. Add to that the possibility that they may garner enough seats in this election to render any opposition defenseless, and America will be subject to the extreme left’s absolute power. What does this mean to you. Let’s take a look:
This past weekend, Congressman Barney Frank called for new tax hikes in a severe recession, more spending of money we don’t have and cutting the defense budget by 25% when we are fighting two wars. Under an Obama Presidency with a super-majority, there will be no stopping this lunacy.
By letting the Bush Tax Cuts expire in 2010, Obama will give all Americans who pay taxes an immediate tax increase.
Under Obama’s tax plan, Americans who don’t pay taxes will actually get a tax rebate. This is all part of his wealth redistribution plan. Right now, 40% of Americans don’t pay any taxes. Obama claims he will give 95% of America a tax cut. How do you give a tax cut to those who don’t pay taxes? You give them a rebate.
Under Obama’s tax plan, small business owners will face tax increases. 80% of jobs in this country come from small businesses. Increasing their taxes will not only prevent them from creating new jobs but will most likely lead to jobs being eliminated to pay the higher taxes.
Under Obama’s tax plan, capital gains taxes will be increased. This will have a devastating effect on the investment markets. If you think your 401K is low now, just wait.
Of course, all of these tax increases are to fund the massive new amount of federal spending on leftist education, socialized health care and other social entitlement programs that are proven failures. This spending serves several purposes: push the leftist agenda forward in our schools, make Americans dependent on the government for health care and create a dependent electorate that will faithfully vote democrat for life (or at least until the Democrat Party officially changes it’s name to the Socialist Party).
Speaking of buying votes, how does amnesty for 12-20 million illegal immigrants sound? Forget amnesty, that’s a given. How about driver’s licenses, health care and college tuition for illegal immigrants? The left has been after these votes for years. Obama will buy them.
The Freedom of Choice Act will be signed into law immediately making every state law restricting abortion null and void including any state bans on partial birth abortion, laws mandating waiting periods, parental notification, and limiting the federal funding of abortion.
The courts will be flooded with like minded liberal judges that will legislate from the bench, reconstruct our Constitution and impose leftist lunacy on our communities and schools. Barack gave an interview in 2001 that revealed his desire to use the courts to redistribute wealth. Check it out here.
Affirmative Action will become the norm as hiring, promotions and firings will be based on race, gender, and sexual orientation rather than skills and achievement.
Under the promise of free health care, the government will take over our medical system and just like it has in other countries, destroy the quality of our health care. Don’t believe me, ask a Canadian, Cuban or Englishman. You should be able to find one, there are plenty here getting medical treatment.
Federal bailouts of states, cities and towns will become the norm increasing our federal deficit and destroying our children’s future with unfunded liabilities.
We will surrender in Iraq, our military budget will be gutted, our President will care more about our reputation in the U.N. than protecting us, and we will be much more likely to suffer an attack domestically. If you don’t believe me, just as Joe Biden.
Free Speech will be under attack as the Fairness Doctrine will be re-imposed. This will effectively give the government power to regulate content on the radio and the internet as equal time to opposing viewpoints will be mandated or outlets will face severe fines. Guess who decides what is equal time and what content violates this law? I’ll give you a hint, not conservatives.
Radicals like Bill Ayers, Reverend Wright, and Frank Marshall Davis will be appointed to strategic positions in education, health care and even the military. They will be well-funded and have enough power and influence to push their absurd, anti-capitalist agendas on you and your children.
I’m sorry to paint such a bleak picture, but it’s the truth. Thousands and Thousands of American soldiers have lost their lives fighting against the spread of Marxism. These soldier’s sacrificed everything to preserve our freedom. The very freedom that our Founding Father’s understood was paramount to government dependency. Time and again, America rejected the false promises of Socialism. Time and again, we gave our sons, brothers, daughters, husbands, and wives because we knew that freedom is worth fighting for. So, what happened? How is it now that so many Americans are willing to trade this freedom for government dependency? Wake up America! The wolves are at the door. God help us if they get in.
